Custom Rug Developed for Interior Designers
CUSTOM RUG DEVELOPMENT
Bespoke rugs developed in close collaboration with interior designers.
WHAT CUSTOM RUGS MEAN
Every rug is developed specifically for its project. Rather than working from pre-existing products, designs are translated from sketches, references, or conceptual inputs to align with scale, material intent, and the overall design language of the space.
Custom rug development allows each piece to respond precisely to proportion, performance, and spatial context.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Custom rug development is undertaken for interior designers working on residential, hospitality, and commercial projects seeking made-to-order rugs aligned with project intent.

CUSTOMISATION SCOPE
Each rug can be fully customised across the following parameters:
Size & Proportion
Developed to suit layout, furniture placement, and spatial flow.
Each piece is considered in relation to scale, proportion, and how the space is experienced.
Colour Matching
Colour matching is developed using recognised industry standards to align with project schemes and design intent. Colours are refined through sampling to account for material response and lighting conditions; slight tonal variation of up to ±5% is an inherent and expected aspect of curated, handcrafted production.
Material Selection
A broad range of natural and blended fibres can be utilised based on design intent and performance requirements. Materials may include New Zealand wool, Merino wool, bamboo silk, Tencel™, mohair, silk, jute, hemp, saree silk, and PET yarn, selected for texture, durability, and finish.
Construction & Technique
Hand-knotted, hand-tufted, flatweave, high-low texture, and other constructions selected based on design intent and functional requirements.
HOW WE WORK
Design Translation
From sketches, references, or conceptual inputs, we translate design intent into build-ready rug concepts.
Material & Technique Guidance
Advisory on materials, textures, pile height, and construction to support both aesthetics and performance.
End-to-End Execution
Sampling → Production → Delivery
Each stage is aligned with approvals, timelines, and project requirements.
SAMPLING & PRODUCTION
Sampling is an integral part of the development process, allowing designers to review colour, texture, and construction before production begins.
We work closely with skilled artisan workshops to ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail throughout execution.
