I’m Nitya, the founder of NityaCurated.
I work as a custom handmade rug agent and curator, collaborating with interior designers and clients to co-create bespoke rugs. For each project, I work with multiple artisan workshops, selecting the most suitable supplier based on craftsmanship, technical expertise, materials, timelines, and design requirements.
My role is to bridge design, production, and pricing — guiding design development and sampling, coordinating production, overseeing quality, and finalising fair, transparent pricing aligned with the complexity and craftsmanship of each rug.
With long-standing relationships across India’s rug-making regions, I provide an end-to-end solution, from concept and sourcing to production management and global delivery. Every project is collaborative and considered, grounded in clarity, trust, and respect for both design intent and craftsmanship.
